ACTION of PA is pleased to continue the Jan Matthews Scholarship in honor of our dear friend and fellow committee woman.

Each year ACTION has awarded a scholarship to a local, deserving high school student between the ages of 15 to 18. The scholarship pays for the student to attend a program called City on the Hill sponsored by PA Family Institute. It is a week long program that in a hands-on way teaches kids how to grow their faith, their confidence and their knowledge of the political realm. The City on the Hill weeklong conference has dynamic speakers who challenge teens to be leaders and to judge evil by the Word of God and not by the world’s standards. They participate in caucus elections, debate bills, and even have some fun at Hersey Park.
