| What is Chester County ACTION? | ||||||||||||||||
|
Our Mission Statement:
"Chester County ACTION is a political action committee open to all who wish to promote candidates and causes consistent with the Judeo-Christian tradition." Chester County ACTION is a conservative, pro-life organization committed to improving grassroots politics in Chester County. Our mission is to promote candidates and causes consistent with the Judeo-Christian tradition. Chester County ACTION is a political action committee duly chartered under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is open to all who wish to join.
We held our inaugural breakfast in January 2003. Since then we have been steadily gaining in membership. Our goal is to educate voters and to encourage conservatives to get involved in the political process. We are confident that when voters understand the whole story, we can prevail.
Our challenge is formidable however. For over four years, a different organization has been working against the values we hold so dear. As a result, this group has targeted conservative, pro-life committee people for their seats on the local Republican Committee. Unfortunately, several conservative committee people lost their positions.

What do we believe?
|
"We electors have an important constitutional power placed in our hands; we have a check upon two branches of the legislature. . . It becomes necessary to every [citizen] then, to be in some degree a statesman: and to examine and judge for himself. . .the. . .political principles and measures. Let us examine them with a sober. . .Christian spirit." ---John Adams | |||||||||||||||
| Government, like clocks, go from the motion men give them; and as governments are made and moved by men, so by them they are ruined too. Wherefore governments rather depend upon men, than men upon governments. Let men be good, and the government cannot be bad. . .But if men be bad, the government (will) never (be) good. ---William Penn | ||||||||||||||||

| In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide, regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate - look to his character. ---Noah Webster | If decent people do not like the way politicians behave, they should either get into politics or refrain from complaining about anything politicians do. ---Teddy Roosevelt | |||||||||||||||
